I began learning perfumery in 2018 under the guidance of a master perfumer and fragrance chemist, whose background in chemistry and biochemistry introduced me to perfumery from the ground up - from understanding raw materials and reading GC-MS reports to exploring how fragrance materials themselves can be created.

What began as an education soon became a deeper practice. Over the years, I continued working with natural and synthetic materials, experimenting with distillation and tincturing, and spending countless hours smelling, formulating, testing and refining.

Along the way, I realised that perfumery is not simply about making something that smells good. It is about understanding materials, balance, proportion, development and the small details that shape how a fragrance is experienced.

That way of thinking became the foundation of Aur Amör.

Today, every fragrance is part of that continuing practice - an ongoing exploration of materials, composition and the craft of perfumery.
